Team Improvement Tracker:
According to the Scrum Guide, the Scrum Team identifies the most helpful changes to improve its effectiveness. The most impactful improvements are addressed as soon as possible. They may even be added to the Sprint Backlog for the next Sprint.
This recommendation suggests that Scrum teams may identify more needed changes than they can improve. Previous versions of the Scrum Guide stated that at least one improvement should be added to the upcoming Sprint Backlog. While the latest version of the Scrum Guide is less prescriptive, the need to track improvements over time persists.
You will find out as a new or experienced Scrum Master, that recording Team Improvements from Sprint to Sprint is not enough. You will find out also that identifying one process improvement and working on will not speed up your Team’s maturity. Would it help your team? Yes, it would.
